Suite Selection.

Our sales team will help you select the home that best fits your needs and lifestyle from a wide variety of suite types, sizes and floorplans.

Contracts & Disclosure Statements.

Chard takes B.C.’s rules and obligations for pre-sale condo purchases very seriously. We’re here to help with everything, from understanding the exact wording of your contract, property disclosure statement and amendments to answering any and all questions you may have about becoming a Chard homeowner.

Financing & Deposits.

Our sales team is accustomed to working with major banks and credit unions and will work hard to help you get the best rates. In fact, several major financial institutions even offer preferred rate-hold mortgages and special promotions designed specifically for Chard purchasers.

Construction Progress Updates.

Over the course of building construction, you can expect to receive regular progress updates from our team, right to your inbox—we even set up site cams, so you can watch the construction stream live online. And you can always visit our blog for additional photos, information and project news, so you’ll never be left wondering what’s going on with your investment.

Pre-Closing Inspection.

As the building nears completion, the contractor, project consultants and Chard Development team will conduct multiple detailed inspections of your suite, after which you’ll be invited to conduct a suite inspection of your own, alongside a member of our team, ensuring any finishing details that may have been missed can be addressed before you move in.

Closing & Move-in.

When the time comes to move into your new home, a member of our team will be there to coordinate your move. You’ll also receive a customized suite and building manual, written by Chard Development, which details your suite and building features, lists important contacts and explains amenity rules and strata obligations.

Finally, as an owner, you’ll also be given access to our online portal where you’ll find individual appliance and fixture manuals, maintenance tips, paint colours and a secure system for reporting and tracking warranty issues and submitting property management requests.

Home Warranty & Customer Care.

Every Chard home comes with a Travelers Canada 2-5-10 home warranty, which protects your investment with a 2-year guarantee on materials and labour, a 5-year guarantee on the building envelope and a 10-year guarantee against structural defects.

To add to that piece of mind, you’ll also be automatically enrolled in Chard’s customer care program, Chard Smart. We provide in-person support, hands-on attention and access to online information and reporting tools for the first 24 months of ownership.
