Chard responds to increasing demand for strata office space
As reported by Bisnow in a recent online report, Vancouver office occupiers are burning with desire to own their own space. Chard is responding to this demand with 34|W7, the developer’s latest addition to Vancouver’s desirable Mount Pleasant neighbourhood.
34|W7 will feature 45,000 SF of strata office space spread over four storeys. The architecturally-striking building will offer generous terraces and expansive glazing showcasing stunning views of Downtown Vancouver. State-of-the-art building systems will ensure efficiency while enviable building amenities and an accessible location are sure to help increase employee satisfaction.
Chard has long been active in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood, having developed MEC’s previous headquarters on W 4th and Manitoba as well as the retailers’ West Broadway store. More recently, Chard brought to market its highly-successful mixed-use development, Ellsworth. Featuring 89 condominium homes, Ellsworth is a 10-storey development located at Main & 7th. Construction is scheduled to begin next month. Next on its list? Chard is in the pre-development phase of a second mixed-use development at the intersection of Main & 5th.
