Creating a diverse mix of housing is of utmost importance to us at Chard, and as such we are proud to share that our application for rezoning at 2375 East Hastings Street was approved by Vancouver City Council earlier this Summer. The application to provide 63 secured market rental units was made under the Rental 100 Program. As a family-oriented community, nearly half of the homes will be two- and three-bedroom suites.
The building will feature a large interior courtyard, a multi-purpose room and shared rooftop amenity which will help to foster community among residents. At grade, the building will feature local-focused commercial units along Hastings Street, and is designed to accommodate a café at the corner. Construction is expected to commence in early 2022.
