MEC approached Chard to source locations for and develop MEC’s new head office. After we thoroughly researched and analyzed competitive corporate office opportunities in Vancouver, MEC selected a former warehouse in False Creek and hired us to develop the office, from approvals and design to construction and relocation. After our success developing MEC’s head office, we were retained to develop Vancouver’s most-frequented MEC location on Broadway Street. The development included site acquisition, approvals, design and construction with a number of environmental features to honour MEC’s corporate values. We were further contracted to manage the development of three other MEC locations across Canada in Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto.
