What does a day in the life at Chard look like?
Every day at Chard is different, dynamic, full of new opportunities and challenges. Every day we are presented with issues that require creative problem solving, team collaboration and tenacity, which in turn lead to creative solutions and achieving milestones on projects. I am consistently presented with requests to create new structures or strategies, I am always challenged and always learning.
What do you enjoy MOST about working at Chard?
I love the dynamic nature of the work. There is never a dull moment in what we do. This makes the work exciting.
Can you share a career highlight or accomplishment you’re proud of?
Being Chard’s first in house legal counsel and being given the opportunity to set up a legal department to benefit the company and service the various departments within in Chard to provide a more streamlined approach to legal documents and ensuring risk mitigation for our partners, has been thrilling. Every day we taken on more and continue to grow. It gives me great satisfaction when our team completes a transaction or reviews a legal agreement required by a department to allow them to progress to the next stage of their work and our projects.
When you’re not working, what can we find you doing (hobbies)?
Travelling with my family or spending time with friends.

Before becoming a lawyer, I worked for the European Union in Kosovo in Rule of Law Matters. I speak English, French and Bulgarian and have lived in Bulgaria, Kosovo, Kenya, the UK, and France!
