Since the demolition of Cook Street Plaza in 2021, the team has been working hard on site to bring us to one of the most exciting milestones in the construction process – we’re excited to share that Haven has officially begun to rise above street level! Excavation and shoring were completed over the past year, and over 3,500 cubic meters of concrete were poured to complete Haven’s three below-grade levels – that’s enough to fill up close to two Olympic swimming pools! With the below-grade structure completed, framing of the first level of the building is now underway.
Passersby will see the building rise above ground level and really take shape over the next few months. Looking forward, Haven will see quick progression as the building reaches the sixth floor and interior finishing gets underway.
