At Chard, we go beyond buildings to create vibrant, purposeful places and inclusive communities that people choose to call their own. That commitment was on display this past weekend during our Ice Cream Social and Fundraiser at The Royals!
The event took place on Saturday, August 19 from 1pm to 3pm. We welcomed residents, commercial tenants, and neighbours of The Royals in North Vancouver’s Central Lonsdale neighbourhood to enjoy a delicious Crema Ice Cream on us. The ice cream was cold, but the atmosphere was warm as neighbours gathered together to connect! And while the ice cream was free of charge, we encouraged donations of any amount from all who attended and committed to matching what was raised. All proceeds will go towards providing school-aged children at YWCA May Brown Place with a backpack full of supplies to start the school year off right.
We are pleased to share that thanks to the generosity of the community at The Royals, we were able to raise over $1,200 in support of kids at YWCA May Brown Place!
